Local Teaching Opportunity for CCS Students and Alum at AVA Gallery and Art Center

AVA Gallery and Art Center (www.avagallery.org) is a nonprofit art center located in Lebanon, NH.  With dynamic, ever-changing exhibitions and an extensive education program, AVA is a lively organization that appeals to community members of all ages and abilities.

Teaching opportunities in the education program exist during the academic calendar, as well during the summer months. Previous and current CCS grads that have taught or are engaged to teach at AVA include Jen Vaughn, Sam Carbaugh, and Bill Bedard. Examples of classes that have been taught include Comics for Kids, Graphic Novels, Advanced Graphic Novels (curriculum included scanning drawings, coloring in Photoshop, outputting for web using AVA’s computer lab), Watercolor Painting, and more.
