Caitlin (Kat) Leonard

Don’t Look Back / The Greenhouse

Don’t Look Back is the beginning of a graphic memoir that encompasses the diasporic experiences that come with immigration across three generations: one living through the Korean War, the next generation immigrating and growing up in the States, and finally the third, American-born. The story follows Caitlin, a queer cartoonist who has only dreamed of Korea through her family’s memories. She reflects on their stories of adjusting to their new world; the countless sacrifices they've made, the traditions they continue to leave behind, along with the new ones they embrace in order to move forward for those they love.

The Greenhouse is a 60-page queer horror comic featuring a messy love triangle, mentions of Greek myth, and murder. Warning for some body horror.
