Here’s a new comic about the journey of moving to Vermont to make and teach comics, by The Center for Cartoon Studies faculty and 2008-09 fellow Alec Longstreth. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION debuted at The Society of Illustrators Ten Years of Fellowship at The Center for Cartoon Studies exhibit opening and was a feature comic at MoCCA Fest 2016. To commemorate The Center for Cartoon Studies’ 10 year anniversary, we want to share our comics’ knowledge and passion with your college. Throughout the 2015-16 academic year, a CCS faculty member will beam into 10 classrooms for a free 30-minute presentation.

Whether it’s a tools and technique demo, professional practice lecture, or artists talk, presentations can be tailored to your classroom’s needs. Find out why The Center for Cartoon Studies is the premier cartooning school in the country.

MFA International Students

Study Comics in Vermont

The Center for Cartoon Studies (CCS) is approved by U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Program to enroll international students in our Master of Fine Arts program. CCS has conducted workshops and participated in events around the globe, including Portugal, Italy, Canada, and Bahrain to name a few, and has hosted cartoonists-in-training from Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Australia, Brazil, and Indonesia. This year students are attending CCS from Columbia, Malaysia, India, Canada!
