Testimonials

“I didn’t know anything about comics before I took this Single Panel Comics workshop. All I knew was that I loved reading graphic novels and wanted to learn the basics of combining my text/writing ideas with my (terrible!) drawings. In this workshop, I discovered I have a unique visual storytelling style that I can be proud of. I grew confident in my comedic storytelling skills and most importantly, I HAD SO MUCH FUN.”

–Cathy, Brooklyn, NY

“I’ve taken several cartooning workshops—really great ones—and this remains my very favorite. Over the past 6 years, it remains a touchstone of my creative life.  I go back to my class notes a lot! Admittedly, I’m an undisciplined amateur who cycles between struggling to find time to do art and going on mini drawing binges, but I “draw” a lot of confidence that I have everything I need to keep growing as a cartoonist from that one week in the magical land of White River Junction. “
