Description:

In this workshop with Tillie Walden ’16, participants will explore the topic of identity in comic stories. This weeklong workshop focuses on learning to develop ideas through plotting, drafting, and class discussion. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate and reflect on their work in a group environment. Lectures cover relevant comics topics like world-building, character design, productivity, and monetizing your art while still providing ample time for free drawing, along with individual guidance and presentations of the results in the group. This workshop is specifically for queer comic stories! So if you’re ready to draw some comics, join us this summer!
