Mathew New ′14 has released four self-published issues of Billy Johnson and His Duck Are Explorers. And now it’s also being collected in a book through Capstone Publishing, coming in fall of 2020. The acquisition was announced recently in Publishers Weekly.
Billy Johnson and His Duck Are Explorers is an ongoing all-ages comic about, of course, Billy Johnson and his duck friend, Barrace. They travel and explore. And they discover treasures and their own mysterious past. In issue 1, they search the jungle for the elusive Lost Monkey Kingdom. In issue 2, they team up with a tomb robber on a quest that takes them from underground up to the skies. In issue 3, they search the deserts of Oman for the Atlas bear. In issue 4, they go on the Hero’s Trial to attain the elusive pieces of the powerful Hero’s Armor.
