The much-awaited graphic comedy, DOGS ON DATES by Luke Healy ‘14, is out 6/16 through Drawn & Quarterly. And just as the title suggests, it’s about dogs… on dates!
“Healy balances self-effacing humor with evenhanded introspection over pages of neat, efficient cartooning.” —Publishers Weekly
“A painfully funny… narrative involving grief, identity and the frightening climate crisis… Every page sends up the terrible dissonance between our utter self-obsession and our anxiety (or not) at what’s happening out in the world before our very eyes.” —The Guardian
But there’s no need to wait until publication day. Pre-order DOGS ON DATES at your local bookstore. If you’re in the Upper Valley, check out The Norwich Bookstore, Still North Books & Bar, and The Yankee Bookshop.
“Healy has created what may well be the perfect romance comic!… Seeing queer romance so intimately and profoundly depicted is a gift. Love wins! Love wins!”
—Justin Hall, cartoonist and educator, editor of NO STRAIGHT LINES
