CCS PRESENTS: High Contrast Comics with Andy Warner!
ONLINE – OCTOBER 15 – 6:30 – 8pm ET
CCS Alum Andy Warner (‘12) will guide participants through creating comics using high contrast black and white spotting techniques. Warner will share work of masters of the style, deconstruct their methods, and help participants apply high contrast techniques to their own work.

CCS PRESENTS: Autobio Comics with Betsey Swardlick!
ONLINE – OCTOBER 29 – 6:30 – 8pm ET
Make it Weird: Humor and Absurdity in Autobio Comics with CCS alum Betsey Swardlick (‘11). Why autobio? Is it because we are wildly egomaniacal? Are our lives that interesting? We
know why we like to read it (because we’re nosy and we want to spy on other people’s lives) but why do we like to make it? Join Swardlick as she explores autobio comics as a way of processing experiences, creating a self-portrait, and connecting with others. Attendees will draw a one-page comic about something that happened to them recently.
