Wired’s best comics of 2013 covers the span of superhero stories to intensely personal autobiography, including work by Dean Trippe (Something Terrible), Michael DeForge (Ant Comic), Gene Luen Yang (Boxers and Saints), and Simon Hanselmann (Life Zone/Girl Mountain) to name a few.  Click here to see the complete list!

Forman’s TEOTFW by publisher FANTAGRAPHICS follows two teenagers, James and Alyssa, living a seemingly typical teen experience as they face the fear of coming adulthood. Forsman tells their story through each character’s perspective, jumping between points of view with each chapter. This somewhat familiar teenage experience takes a more nihilistic turn as the main character, James, exhibits a rapidly forming sociopathy. He harbors violent fantasies and begins to act on them, while Alyssa remains as willfully ignorant for as long as she can, blinded by young love.
