For the many The Center for Cartoon Studies (CCS) students who don’t have their own cars, Advance Transit can be a lifeline to the shopping plazas, the Dartmouth libraries, restaurants, appointments, and more.

FREE to all riders and operating on weekdays, Advance Transit (AT) buses serve the downtown areas of White River Junction, Wilder, Norwich, Hanover, Lebanon, and West Lebanon – with a few daily runs to Canaan and Enfield too.

If your answers are yes, yes, and yes then come join The Center for Cartoon Studies’ Saturday Morning Cartooning Club! We’ll design characters, create stories, and learn a ton about cartooning!

Alumni Alert: Laura Terry

Let’s add another item to the list of Upper Valley Must-Sees: the work of Laura Terry (CCS ′10). In addition to local highlights like Dartmouth College campus murals, cartoons for King Arthur Flour’s magazine The Baking Sheet, and illustrations for Lou’s Restaurant in Hanover, Terry’s lush and expressive style has been featured on websites like Slate.com. A recipient of one of the last-awarded Xeric grants for her 2012 comic Overboard, Terry keeps her online portfolio updated at www.bravesailor.com.

Alum Jen Vaughn’s Creates Dartmouth Hopkins Center for the Arts Hands On Piano Animation

The Center for Cartoon Studies alum Jen Vaughn collaborated with Dartmouth College Hopkins Center for the Arts (HOP) to produce this playful stop motion promotion animation
